A nervous fiber has in the Action Potential an important characteristic in the transmission of the information. By means of the exchange ions of Sodium and Potassium through the cell membrane, the nervous fiber changes from a normal resting value, approximately -100mV, to a critical threshold of 40mV. Taking into account that there are parameters such as the conducance, the resistance and the capacitance, which they have found in the nervous fibers, the neuron morphology and physiology allows to do analogies with transmission lines, as many bifilar as coaxial. Nevertheless, there are details in the neuron and in the nervous system that they cannot shape mathematically as transmission lines; therefore, they cannot be simulated to infer improvements in the electronic communication channels either.
