Evaluación de la planta de tratamiento de agua potable del municipio de Barbosa-Santander

In this document the results of analysis and evaluation of the procedures performed in the WTP Barbosa , Santander are included . The WTP Barbosa is a conventional plant consists of a tank on arrival, a Pashall channel , two hydraulic horizontal flow floculadores two high-rate clarifiers with inclined plates , three quick filters and a chlorination contact tank . For the year 2041 , with a projection of 51,750 inhabitants , the WTP has sufficient supply capacity . The current operation meets the requirements of potable water, established in Resolution 2115 of 207 . The study also wishes to point out the operations required for improvement and maintenance of the water treatment plant and recommend updating stratification of users and the reset rate .
