Abstract (Spanish)
Este trabajo describe el desarrollo de la ontología en el dominio de los registros médicos electrónicos (EMR). El propósito es aplicar la web semántica como herramienta integradora para la gestión de la información y el conocimiento en las historias clínicas, sustentada en el diseño de una ontología del dominio médico en un entorno de telemedicina. El resultado final es el diseño de una ontología en el dominio médico que permite la gestión de historias clínicas de pacientes en idioma español. Además, la ontología se complementa con la implementación de un servicio web semántico que facilita la interrogación, mantenimiento y consulta de la ontología.
Abstract (English)
This work describes the development of ontology in the domain of Electronic Medical Records (EMRs). The purpose is to apply the semantic web as an integrating tool for information and knowledge management in clinical histories, supported by the design of an ontology of the medical domain in a telemedicine environment. The final result is the design of an ontology in the medical domain that allows the management of patient records in Spanish language. In addition, the ontology is complemented by the implementation of a semantic web service that facilitates the interrogation, maintenance and consultation of the ontology.
