Abstract (Spanish)
El presente artículo presenta los resultados del diagnóstico de las prácticas de iniciación y planificación en gerencia de proyectos para pymes del sector de la construcción en Bogotá, Colombia. Esta investigación se basó en el estudio de la bibliografía internacional relacionada con las pymes, la gerencia de proyectos en el sector de la construcción y los procesos de iniciación y planificación. La información y los hallazgos se compararon con un conjunto de entrevistas y encuestas realizadas a gerentes de proyectos con experiencia relevante en la materia, lo que dio como resultado una caracterización de las prácticas en gerencia de proyectos que se aplican actualmente en las pymes del sector de la construcción. La descripción se realizó mediante la división de los hallazgos en las áreas de conocimiento establecidas en la guía del PMBOK ® y la extensión para proyectos de construcción, para finalmente determinar las variables que pueden usarse en un futuro modelo para la gerencia de proyectos en pymes. Abstract (English)
This article presents the results of the diagnosis of project management initiation and planning practices for SMEs in the construction sector in Bogota, Colombia. This research was based on the study of international literature related to SMEs, project management in the construction sector, and initiation and planning processes. The information and findings were compared with a set of interviews and surveys conducted with project managers with relevant experience in the field, resulting in a characterization of project management practices currently applied in SMEs in the construction sector. The description was made by dividing the findings into the areas of knowledge established in the PMBOK ® guide and the extension for construction projects, to finally determine the variables that can be used in a future model for project management in SMEs.
