Abstract (Spanish)
Para abordar este desafío, el presente trabajo de grado desarrolla un prototipo de herramienta analítica basado en machine learning, orientado al control de proyectos de infraestructura vial en Colombia. La herramienta permite estimar la duración de los proyectos, predecir el presupuesto final ejecutado, optimizar la asignación de recursos y generar recomendaciones técnicas automáticas a partir del análisis de variables contractuales, operativas, climáticas y financieras. La solución se construye con tecnologías de código abierto, datos históricos del Gestor de Proyectos de Infraestructura (GPI) del Ministerio de Transporte y se implementa en una interfaz interactiva que facilita su uso por parte de gerentes de proyecto.
Abstract (English)
This thesis develops a prototype of an analytical tool based on machine learning, aimed at controlling road infrastructure projects in Colombia. The tool enables the estimation of project duration, prediction of the final executed budget, optimization of resource allocation, and generation of automatic technical recommendations through the analysis of contractual, operational, climatic, and financial variables. The solution is built with open-source technologies, historical data from the Infrastructure Project Management System (GPI) of the Ministry of Transportation, and is implemented in an interactive interface designed for use by project managers.
