Abstract (Spanish)
Currently, local mobility planning studies are part of macro city zoning schemes, so they do not show the real needs of the target population. In this sense, there are no standardized procedures that allow the microzoning of zones to adjust to the conditions and dynamics of the sector. Based on the above, this work offers a procedure for the elaboration of microzoning based on information from studies carried out at city level such as mobility surveys and enriched with urban indicators that integrate land uses, urban development criteria such as compactness, densification and compaction of the city.
In the first instance, this analysis defines the main strategies that frame the mobility plans and associates them to indicators that allow not only their diagnosis and evaluation, but also serve as parameters for the microzoning process. Later, it is shown how secondary information is the main input for the process. In particular, data from household mobility and interception surveys were used to make up the origin-destination matrices used in the modeling of the city, digital cartography, applications and computer tools such as GIS-type programs that allow the development of microzoning proposed in this work.
This analysis allows to specify the micro sectors of the city that have dynamics that generate more relevant needs to be solved by the local mobility plans. In this sense, the resources for the execution of the activities and the refinement of the analyses can be optimized by achieving a more precise approach to the conditions of micro-mobility that are produced within urban subzones, allowing the delimitation of complementary studies, the formulation of effective measures and the empowerment of the mobility and sustainability of the regions.
The proposed methodology seeks to integrate within the initial analysis the interdisciplinary group that will be part of the diagnosis and formulation of proposals within the development of the proposed objectives in the approach of the local mobility plan being addressed.
