Estudios de pre-factibilidad para la comercialización de viguetas tipo JOIST para Codising LTDA

Abstract

The growth of the country's economy in recent years is reflected directly in the construction sector, and has forced construction companies to respond to the need to execute projects in shorter times, maintaining quality and efficiency. compliance with the norms and codes of the construction sector. To answer this need, the company CODISING LTDA. sought the possibility of venturing into the design and marketing of "Joist" type joists, a product that allows obtaining shorter installation times and construction of mezzanine flooring in buildings and with a better price than similar products due to its greater efficiency in terms of of weight per linear meter. The present Degree Work made it possible to determine the viability of the project, for which market, technical, environmental, administrative, financial and financing studies were carried out, as well as presenting the corresponding Management Plan; the previous thing following the methodologies and lessons received in the Specialization in Development and Management of Projects of the Colombian School of Engineering "Julio Garavito". Based on the findings, conclusions and recommendations made to the different studies and analyzed the financial viability of the Project, it was determined that the commercialization of "Joist" joists is viable according to the requirements defined by the interested parties and is an alternative that would contribute to the fulfillment of the objectives of the company CODISING LTDA. and to the objectives of economic growth of the Nation. The authors of this document are students of the academic program in mention, under the guidelines of the Project Management Institute for the corresponding to integral management of projects.

El crecimiento de la economía del país durante los últimos años, se ve reflejado de manera directa en el sector de la construcción, y ha obligado a las empresas constructoras a responder a la necesidad de ejecutar proyectos en tiempos más cortos, manteniendo la calidad y el cumplimiento de las normas y códigos del sector de la construcción. Para responder a ésta necesidad la empresa CODISING LTDA. buscó la posibilidad de incursionar en el diseño y comercialización de viguetas tipo “Joist”, producto que permite la obtención de menores tiempos de montaje y construcción de placas de entrepisos en edificaciones y con un mejor precio que productos similares debido a su mayor eficiencia en términos de peso por metro lineal. El presente Trabajo de Grado permitió determinar la viabilidad del proyecto, para lo cual se realizaron estudios de mercado, técnicos, ambientales, administrativos, financieros y de financiamiento, así como presentar el correspondiente Plan de Gerencia; lo anterior siguiendo las metodologías y enseñanzas recibidas en la Especialización en Desarrollo y Gerencia de Proyectos de la Escuela Colombiana de Ingeniería “Julio Garavito”. A partir de los hallazgos, conclusiones y recomendaciones realizadas a los diferentes estudios y analizada la viabilidad financiera del Proyecto, se determinó que la comercialización de las viguetas tipo “Joist” es viable de acuerdo a los requerimientos definidos por las partes interesadas y es una alternativa que aportaría al cumplimiento de los objetivos de la empresa CODISING LTDA. y a los objetivos de crecimiento económico de la Nación. Los autores del presente documento son estudiantes del programa académico en mención, bajo los lineamientos del Project Management Institute para lo correspondiente a gerencia integral de proyectos.
