With the rapid development of the world economy and population growth, higher and higher buildings will be built all over the world, concrete as a structural material offers adequate sufficient mechanical properties and construction advantages for the construction of skyscrapers, so in In recent decades the manufacture of all-steel buildings has decreased from more than 90% in 1970 to 20% today. By positioning concrete as the material that has been part of skyscrapers worldwide, it has allowed concrete technology to advance in search of better properties in the fresh and hardened state. In turn, other properties of concrete such as elastic modulus, durability and workability are important to facilitate the construction and operation stages in high-rise buildings. In that order of ideas, it will also be important to constructively take into account the concrete supply systems such as pumping, which is one of the most frequent means used to take the concrete to the formwork site, especially in skyscrapers where transport routes they are longer and taller. Additionally, structural monitoring systems have recently been implemented in skyscrapers to supervise the structural health of the building during the construction and operation stage. So the objective of this research is a summary of the state of the art on advances that have been made worldwide in the construction of skyscrapers with reinforced concrete.eng
