dc.description.abstract | EL procesador RISC5 y Project Oberon fueron desarrollados en el ETH “Eidgenössische Technische Hochschule Zürich” por Niklaus Wirth y Jürg Gutknecht a finales de 1980, lo cual está completamente documentado en su libo “Project Oberon”. La idea portar el procesador RISC5 y por ende el sistema Oberon, viene dada por la popularidad de la Raspberry Pi como una plataforma económica y accesible, para dar a conocer el sistema Oberon dentro de la comunidad de la Raspberry Pi, y utilizar Project Oberon y la Raspberry Pi para enseñar como diseñar e implementar un sistema operativo. La estrategia utilizada para portar el emulador del procesador RISC5 y el sistema operativo Oberon, fue portar los driver comunes entre el emulador del sistema operativo y la Raspberry Pi, estos fueron la pantalla, mouse “USB”, teclado “USB”, disco el cual en la Raspberry Pi es una tarjeta SD. | spa |
dc.description.abstract | The RISC5 processor and Project Oberon were developed at the ETH "Eidgenössische Technische Hochschule Zürich" by Niklaus Wirth and Jürg Gutknecht in the late 1980s, which is fully documented in its libo "Project Oberon". The idea of carrying the RISC5 processor and therefore the Oberon system, is given by the popularity of the Raspberry Pi as an affordable and accessible platform, to raise awareness of the Oberon system within the Raspberry Pi community, and to use Project Oberon and the Raspberry Pi to teach how to design and implement an operating system. The strategy used to carry the RISC5 processor emulator and the Oberon operating system, was to port the common drivers between the operating system emulator and the Raspberry Pi, these were the screen, "USB" mouse, "USB" keyboard, disk which in the Raspberry Pi is an SD card. | eng |
