A premature newborn is that newborn born before reaching 37 weeks of gestation, they represent the newborns with the highest probability of presenting some complication after delivery. This is why neonatology centers are of great importance, in these centers permanent use is made of neonatal incubators, biomedical equipment that aims to provide a closed and controlled environment that favors the development of the baby. The incubators have their security system approved by the different regulators of said equipment, however, their systems and alarms depend on a timely response from the medical team present. All these circumstances generate the need for continuous monitoring of the parameters of the incubator and the newborn, as well as a continuous presence of the competent medical staff. In order to provide a useful tool, Internet of Things (IoT) systems provide a solution to monitoring parameters remotely. These systems allow devices and components to be connected via a local WiFi network, to transmit measurement information and its subsequent display. For this investigation, the parameters to be measured will be the relative humidity of the system, the temperature in the incubator and the noise level inside the incubator. This study was carried out in a highly complex hospital where the research committee, the technical committee and the ethics committee endorsed its development.
