Estrategias de gestión del conocimiento para el uso de TIC en el punto vive digital Chía por parte de personas adultas.

Abstract

Es indudable que, en la sociedad actual, el conocimiento en sus diferentes tipologías, el uso y apropiación de tecnologías de la información y las comunicaciones (TIC), juegan un papel importante en la vida de las naciones, las organizaciones y las personas durante toda la vida. Por este motivo, esta investigación analiza el rol de la gestión del conocimiento como estrategia para optimizar el uso y apropiación de TIC por parte de las personas adultas que asisten a los cursos del Punto Vive Digital Chía, y con ello, contribuir a mejorar su calidad de vida. Las fuentes de la información para este estudio son adultos asistentes a los cursos de ofimática y de herramientas multimedia, los profesores y el equipo de trabajo del Punto. Las técnicas que se utilizaron para recoger la información son diálogos con los adultos y profesores, entrevistas, observación de las clases, y la aplicación de encuestas específicas para adultos y profesores. En el contexto del Punto Vive Digital, se puede afirmar que la labor que se realiza en este punto es muy importante, ya que anualmente atiende aproximadamente a 500 adultos, y a cerca de 60 adultos durante la realización de cada curso en el Punto. Los adultos buscan en esta institución una formación y capacitación en alfabetización digital, promoviendo el uso y apropiación de TIC, a la que no pudieron acceder cuando eran adolescentes o jóvenes por diferentes razones sociales y económicas. La valoración que hacen los profesores sobre la integración curricular de las TIC, en fundamental en el proceso educativo desarrollado en el Punto Vive Digital, pues si los profesores no consideraran las TIC importantes, se tendría más dificultades. Los profesores son conscientes del potencial y de las ventajas que ofrecen las TIC en la educación para adultos. Así mismo, los profesores del Punto están de acuerdo con la integración de las TIC en su labor pedagógica y que permite mejorar sus actividades de docencia, considerando que las TIC ayudan a mejorar y a estimular el aprendizaje de los adultos.

Las TIC generan entornos que facilitan el acceso de la información, y el proceso educativo en los adultos, teniendo en cuenta las funciones del profesor para estructurarlas, organizarlas y adaptarlas a las características de los adultos. En este sentido la función de tutor, orientador y guía se hacen más relevantes en el proceso educativo que busca alcanzar el aprendizaje.

The assessment that teachers make about the curricular integration of ICTs, fundamentally in the educational process developed in Punto Vive Digital, because if teachers do not consider ICTs important, there would be more difficulties. Teachers are aware of the potential and advantages offered by ICT in adult education. Likewise, the teachers of the Point are in agreement with the integration of the TIC in their pedagogical work and that allows to improve their activities of teaching, considering that the TIC help to improve and to stimulate the learning of the adults.

ICTs generate environments that facilitate access to information, and the educational process in adults, taking into account the teacher's functions to structure, organize and adapt them to the characteristics of adults. In this sense, the role of tutor, counselor and guide become more relevant in the educational process that seeks to achieve learning.
