Abstract

Nos debatimos entre la dicotomía de la corrupción y la violencia, por una parte, y la impunidad ante estos hechos, por la otra. Se hace necesario reconocer que los derechos no son gratuitos y que deben ser siempre el resultado del cumplimiento del deber. Aunque todos somos seres humanos, no será viable una sociedad en la cual no sólo se perdona al criminal sino que también se le premia.

We are torn between the dichotomy of corruption and violence, on the one hand, and impunity for these acts, on the other. It is necessary to recognize that rights are not free and that they must always be the result of the fulfillment of duty. Although we are all are all human beings, a society in which criminals are not only forgiven but also rewarded will not be viable.
