Title: El trabajo doméstico no remunerado en Bogotá ¿Quién lo paga?: Análisis desde un enfoque de la economía feminista
Authors: Tunarrosa Padilla, Mateo Alejandro

Abstract: In the present investigation, the sexual division of labour is posed as one of the gender income gap causes in Bogotá. This is because women, being socially responsible for the care and maintenance of the household and its members, can’t participate in the labor market like men, so they must opt for part-time jobs, informal or work at home to receive income while taking care of their family. To develop the problem, first, a discussion of the different approaches to economic theory that address the debate was raised, concluding that the feminist-marxist approach is the most appropriate. Secondly, a statistical analysis was carried out based on data from the National Survey on Time Use (ENUT) conducted by DANE for the first time in Colombia, between 2012 and 2013.
