Diseño de una guía para la identificación de riesgos en construcción de edificios privados en la empresa SRC INGENIEROS CIVILES S.A.

Abstract

La investigación que se presenta a continuación refleja el trabajo desarrollado en torno al diseño de una guía para la identificación de riesgos en proyectos de construcción de edificios privados en la empresa SRC Ingenieros Civiles S.A. Para contextualizar el problema actual de la empresa, en los primeros capítulos se presentan los antecedentes del sector construcción y los riesgos que se han evidenciado en proyectos realizados en Colombia, se describen casos actualmente en investigación y se enmarca a SRC Ingenieros Civiles S.A. en el mercado. Posteriormente, se explica cómo el diseño de esta guía contribuye a los objetivos estratégicos de la empresa y aporta a la disminución de los sobrecostos generados por la materialización de riesgos, el mejoramiento de la planeación y la realización de un costeo adecuado de los proyectos. La guía es el resultado de dos fuentes principales de información; por un lado, la selección y análisis de tres proyectos de mayor relevancia en SRC Ingenieros y por otro, la aplicación de una entrevista estructurada a 22 líderes de las diferentes áreas involucradas en el desarrollo de proyectos dentro de la empresa. De esta forma, el equipo del proyecto obtiene información relevante para la construcción de la guía para la identificación de riesgos en proyectos de construcción que se presenta. Una vez identificados los riesgos presentes en la empresa, se realiza la comparación con estudios previos para la identificación de riesgos en el sector construcción, lo cual permite complementar el diseño de la guía y validarla. En cuanto al producto de la investigación “Guía para la identificación de riesgos en proyectos de construcción de edificios privados en la empresa SRC Ingenieros Civiles S.A.”, se plantea un instructivo que permitirá a los usuarios implementar la guía de forma fácil y amigable, y se plantea el enriquecimiento de la herramienta a medida que se lleva a cabo la identificación de riesgos de cada una de las fases de los proyectos, así como los hallazgos, conclusiones y recomendaciones luego de haber realizado la investigación. Por último, se presenta el resultado del plan de gerencia desarrollado para cumplir con los objetivos del proyecto, evidenciando el cumplimiento de los indicadores planteados frente a calidad, alcance, tiempo, costo y manejo de riesgos. De igual manera, se presentan los hallazgos, conclusiones, recomendaciones de la ejecución de este trabajo de investigación enmarcado en el ámbito de la gerencia de proyectos.
