dc.description.abstract | Gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) is a serious disease of the arm where any degree of glucose intolerance occurs in the body, generating hyperglycemia in the body of pregnant women, causing different diseases for the fetus, baby and mother. Currently there are treatments using insulin, glyburity and metformin, but each of these procedures has side effects on the patient or their baby. For this reason, we seek to find a different alternative to compounds to treat gestational diabetes mellitus. Therefore, in this degree thesis we seek to find proteins directly related to GDM, find phytoconstituents that reduce the concentration of glucose in the blood, find binding sites in the proteins found and perform molecular docking between proteins and phytoconstituents at the binding sites. . found. Scientific evidence was found on the relationship between DMG and 4UV7-3Q4Z proteins, in addition, 72 phytoconstituents with polar and non-polar characteristics were also found, which were classified according to their solubility. With the 4UV7 protein and soluble phytoconstituents, molecular docking was performed on binding sites obtained using predictive software. The results obtained with molecular docking show a very similar electronic affinity between the phytoconstituents-protein and drugs-protein. | eng |
