| spa |
dc.description.abstract | In this paper we present the construction of the Riemman zeta function, properties and other results; using tools of the complex variable and analysis. It should be noted that this is not the only way to address this issue, since there are other forms that are much shorter, but that involve more specialized knowledge and results. In the first part of the document, some preliminary results of a complex variable and complex analysis are presented, which will be used in the main part of the work. A brief study on the Gamma function is also attached in the appendix, which will be important in the extension of the zeta function. Despite this, it is assumed that the reader has knowledge and command of these issues. The work begins with the definition of the zeta function as a sum of Dirichlet and some of its most important properties, for example, its definition as a product of terms that depend on prime numbers. In addition to this, some of its analytical extensions will be worked on, mainly to a meromorphic function in the complex plane, which will allow finally formulating the functional equation of the function ζ and from here, briefly study the behavior of its trivial zeros; but more importantly, the region where non-trivial zeros are concentrated, which is where the Riemann hypothesis unfolds. | eng |
