Caracterización estructural de una vivienda tradicional indígena en el municipio de Ortega, Tolima – Resguardo Pijao Vuelta al Río

Abstract

The westernization of Colombian indigenous peoples has lead to the decline of knowledge in how to build a traditional Indian house. In this graduation work study this ancestral knowledge was expressed through the structural characterization of a traditional home, in the Pijao Indian Reservation Community, Around the Corner of the River in the town of Ortega - Tolima. This was carried out in four stages: previous stage, as a bibliographic collection and the conception investigation method in a community in which was determined the participants ethnography; field stage, where the collection of the primary information took place in the reservation; developing stage, where the whole information process of the previous stage took place, realization of architectural and structural design, constructive process and it was compared with the Planning National Department TYPE 23 project (PND) and the Interior Ministry’s; in the final stage, the post process of the information that resulted in this writing was performed.

La occidentalización de los pueblos indígenas colombianos ha llevado al declive de la transmisión del conocimiento oral y vivencial del cómo hacer una vivienda tradicional. En este trabajo de grado se plasmó este saber ancestral mediante la caracterización estructural de una vivienda tradicional, en la comunidad indígena de Resguardo pijao vuelta al río en el municipio de Ortega – Tolima. Esta se llevó a cabo en cuatro etapas: etapa previa como una recopilación bibliográfica y concepción del método investigativo en una comunidad en el que se determinó la etnografía participante, etapa de campo en donde se realizó la recolección de información primaria en el resguardo, etapa de desarrollo en donde se llevó a cabo todo el proceso de información de la etapa anterior, realización de planos arquitectónicos y estructurales, análisis de materiales, proceso constructivo y se comparó con el proyecto TIPO 23 del Departamento Nacional de Planeación (DNP) y el Ministerio del Interior. En la etapa final se realizó el post proceso de la información que dio lugar a este escrito.
