Abstract

El modelado de las barreras rígidas se enfoca en aplicar la intensidad de la amenaza y relacionar la severidad de las afectaciones que presenta la estructura, analizada a partir de la resistencia del concreto y de su nivel de exposición, este último es la ubicación de la barrera rígida respecto con el pie del talud. Los resultados obtenidos con estos modelos permiten la visualización, a través de representaciones gráficas, de la relación entre los escenarios de amenaza y los niveles de severidad de daño ocasionados, esta relación se define como vulnerabilidad física. El análisis de la vulnerabilidad en bienes geotécnicos, permite realizar evaluaciones de consecuencias, de optimización y funcionalidad de las vías.
